Thought I'd make a list of players on long term absence to help with various comps going on at the moment (SSFFL, Dream Team etc). I've posted this on another site and thought it may be useful here too.

This is a list of players on long term (6 Weeks and over), indefinite, or season ending injuries or suspensions at the moment. I've used mainly two sources for this list - the links for these are at the end.

I have added Holland and Rusling and deleted Notting to the list by editing my original post. But I havent worried about doing the others as I was only making a list of absences of 6 weeks or more.

Jason Roe from Brisbane has played most of the NAB Cup and he will play Round 1 so you can take him off that list.

Has a foot stress fracture. Was originally going to miss 7 weeks but a recent Age article suggest that he may only miss the first two.

He is still on the tigers long term injury list with his return listed as indefinite. Has not played this year after a knee reco. You may remember he did his knee playing against us in Rnd 2 last year. It was his first year from being elavated off the rookie list.

Yes I do remember when he did his knee against us and he was playing quiet well against Riewoldt.

I just thought that I read somewhere that he was playing this week in the reserves but im not sure.

Yep...good one. I'll add this to the list. Was reading that he can train with Cats and play in the VFL but will have to wait until Round 6 before he can play for with the seniors.

Agree, why would you get him when he doesn't get much of the ball and he gives away free kicks ??

Haddrill for the Dockers has done his knee again.

Not sure of how long but considering his record with knee injuries probably not good.

The Perth press are saying it looks like only 4-5 week injury at this stage. I'll look out for any update on this. Thanks for the advice.

EDIT: Other Perth papers are saying 4-6 weeks 'at best'. This is pending scans and further tests. So in view of this, I'll update the list and look out for more info once tests are completed.

I have added Kouta to the list after injuring his finger during training today. He is set to miss at least 8 weeks according to SEN.

I have made a number of changes to the list this evening based on the AFL article - http://afl.com.au/Season2007/News/NewsA ... wsId=40025.

I intend to keep updating the list and as I said earlier, may become a useful tool for those doing SSFFL, Dream Team etc.
