Worth pointing out that whereas now the umps give out 6 votes per game (3-2-1) in 1925 they only gave 1 vote per game.Snakeman66 wrote:Colin Watson 1925(9 votes)SaintBot wrote:Who was the last Stkilda player to win the Brownlow Medal with less than 20 votes?
So Watson effectively had 9 best on grounds in just 17 games.
So in todays terms that would be 27 (9x3) plus maybe some 2's and 1's, plus what if the season was 22 rounds (an extra 5 games) ?
Just trying to put his fantastic season in perspective.

Maybe you should ask around a bulldogs board or maybe even go to their official website to see if they have his profile under a past players section.

Don't dwell on the past.
Look to the future.

Bump.
Whilst all their birthdates are published the effort to cross-check them against old fixtures is way too great !
I can't believe you checked them all !
Anyway Les, please put us out of our misery
