correct

18 goals in both 1997 and 2006
has never kicked more than three But has done that 9 times
3 of those times being in 2006-Western Bulldogs, Hawthorn and Brisbane

HarvesDisciple If he did kick four it was before 1993 and records which are ongoing have his highest at 3 goals-

Reg Garvin coached the Saints in 1942 and 1943. Which team did he have the most success against?

Re the prev Harvey/goals question .....

3 of those times being in 2006-Western Bulldogs, Hawthorn and Brisbane
Saintbrat you are wrong AND right.

You are correct that Harve's hasn't kicked 4 goals since the 1993 stats.

But he has kicked 4 goals - TWICE !!!!!

Harvey's Disciple is right about the 4 goals against the Cats. It was Round 11 1990 in a losing game at Waverley.

But the year before he also managed 4 goals against The Filth (Carlton) at Princes Park in Round 20. It was a momentous game - Peter McConville also kicked 4 and Elvis kicked a lazy 8 (just warming up for his bag of 9 the next week against Melbourne).
Unfortunately we lost the game (it wasn't till 1993 that we eventually broke our Princes Park hodoo !).

anyone got records for prior to 1990- link?
No but I do have a spreadsheet originally from Col Hutchinson (Official AFL statistician) showing for every game in our history every player scoring 4 or more goals which I keep uptodate.

Reg Garvin coached the Saints in 1942 and 1943. Which team did he have the most success against?
2 wins against Hawthorn

Now I'm thinking it wasn't Davenport! It might have been a left foot wingman we recruited from SA. Name escapes me.

Was Davenport playing in even playing in 1990? I have the feeling it was Healy. It was the one bright moment in an otherwise dull career.
