You are correct.
We haven't faced a Melbourne based team in a final since 1998, when we played the Demons.
Well done.

OK - our biggest winning margin v tiggers was yesterday.
In 1961 we gave the tiggers another thrashing (the third best) - what was unusual about the scoreline?

Richmond did not kick a goal for the match. The scoreline was:
12.19.91 to 0.8.8
What a game! The yips must have been in full swing that day!
They should only play AFL games now when it's raining. Slow games of footy are so much better to watch.

Max Hudghton has kicked 14 goals in his 188 games - not a bad rate for a full-back.
How many games did Maxie play BEFORE he kicked a goal? When was his first goal kicked (season will do).

Max played 60 games without kicking a goal.
He kick a goal in his 61st game (Round 20 1999 Kangaroos)

To keep this going, I will ask a question.
Darryl Wakelin played 115 games for St Kilda.
Shane Wakelin played 94 games.
How many games did they play together for St Kilda?

Sorry guys, and thanks for the PM Sainterone.
Yes, Snakeman66 you were correct that Maxie played 60 games before he kicked a goal.

Bloody hell, can we ease up on the stats based ones?
I'm much better on obscure players from the early 90s.

Sorry had to retrieve this from page 6 because I completely forgot. lol
thanks to Sainterone for the heads up.
In the opening Round of 1991, St.Kilda was without Tony Lockett due to a back injury for the game against the Tiges.
Stewart Loewe was very good kicking 4 goals, but it was another forward who stood up and kicked 5 that day.
Spent a bit of time at both ends of the ground during his career. Could take a big grab, and went on to play for another club.
Who was it.
