I believe Macrae has 6
Carroll has 18
That’s what they are wearing at training.
Will they just go in order of draft selections?

Re: Players Numbers
Numbers get held for great players, like Riewoldt and Spud after his death recently.
Better to hand it to a new player, and let them forge a new history in it.
Also, let’s see Alix burn it up over his career, so we can say “Josh who?”

Re: Players Numbers
would they give 6 to Garcia for example?
I expect last year's draftees like Garcia, Wilson etc would keep their numbers.

A real Sainter will pledge allegiance to the ❤ and despise the Pies, the Blues, and the Injectors.

Re: Players Numbers
I feel like we complicate player numbers. It could be easy.
Any vacant historically important numbers 1, 2, 4, 12, 35 decided by a club committee and captain (includes decision to leave vacant)
Current players get a chance to request vacant spots, and the leadership team decides if there's more than one person asking for a vacant number.
Repeat until all current players have shuffled
Then all other players assigned numbers in draft order

3, 5, 7 and 10 also seem historically important to me.Otiman wrote: ↑Mon 25 Nov 2024 8:39am I feel like we complicate player numbers. It could be easy.

But I totally agree with your suggested process.
Committee should include the club historian. (Peculiar trends and traditions should be identified and cultivated.)

B.M.
Boyd apparently is a solid build
Does he look AFL ruck height
SANFL his height was not a concerned but it may have been off set by his strength at that level

Re: Players Numbers
He’s a big body, not overly tall.
I was also surprised by Dodson, not as tall as I thought he’d be. Not sure he’s as tall as Marshall, definitely not 203.
King and Heath are visibly tall. 6’8”

Re: Players Numbers
It's called an optical illusion. Why would they cheat on his height?
In Springfield, they're eating the dogs. The people that came in, they're eating the cats. They’re eating – they are eating the pets of the people that live there.

I'm not sure that flying for hangers (Tauru) and coathangers (Sarua) are similar traits at all!
its time to make a name for yourself like you've never made before!
