Not ideal for Tauru but appears to be more precautionary....

Ready to fully train end of Jan?

Might push him back a bit

David Misson said Tauru:

Not running for past 6 weeks
no running for 6 weeks from now
gradual loading on bike, in pool
scans before Christmas break to see how fracture has healed, to assess when loading can start
has stress fracture in back, we were fully aware

could train with main group in late Jan but prob mid-Feb

Don't wanna push him as injury can recur so being closely monitored by HPD, for progress

Poor Liam Henry, the guy just can't catch a break. Hopefully he's back to full training no later than mid-late January, such a crucial part of our lineup. Hope Tauru is nothing to worry about, stress fractures this young are a little worrying, but if they went ahead and drafted him still knowing about it then clearly we don't think it will be a problem.

Callum Twomey says the injury was discovered after he tested strongly ay the Combine.

And 'Saints and all clubs were aware before the draft'.

Twomey is a paid propaganda mouthpiece so he's been fed info from Misson and some overpaid drongos at the Kremlin

Should we be worried about Henry’s knee?

Until we hear otherwise, I'm worried.

Henry had a PCL

should be fully over it by now, unless he tore meniscus- which is not great

That ultimately leads to a Brad Crouch knee

I'm pretty sure that Dave Misson had reported Henry's injury as a significant cartilage injury requiring surgery

Tauru not a concern, takes the pressure off him playing seniors in 2025 and lets him build into a solid 2nd year.

Henry a massive concern. Was the difference maker in just about every game he played last year.
