Sad to see the latin go but I think it’s pretty good.

It’s more functional and contemporary and has more of a slick branding feel but on the other hand we have lost an important historical element.

I give it an 8/10 overall.

Yeah. That’s sort of my thoughts too.

I almost feel is they just put this out, and didn’t tell anyone they were doing it, it would take a few people a minute to realise.

I think it allows them to change more in the near future if they want, now they have broken the long standing logo.

The "ST.K.F.C." will be replaced by "ST KILDA" and the ribbon including the motto will be removed.

Good call early.

Ribbon still there but minimised. Looks really good overall.

Due to the unified nature of the new logo, the Crest is now able to be enlarged in key areas, such as on the front of the guernsey, and also minimised to better suit a raft of digital placements in the modern age; a key consideration during initial ideation.

The club’s motto of Fortius Quo Fidelius, which was previously housed in the ribbon of the Crest over the years, will now reside within the hemlines of all St Kilda guernseys moving forward.

Good to see a larger crest on the guernsey, even if we can't have it above our front shirt sponsor for whatever reason.

And the motto in the guernsey is a nice touch too.

All the merch in the St Kilda store already has the new logo on it.

The 2025 jersey seems to pretty much be the same as last season, Without the thin black line on the trim

I might be in the minority but what was the point of any of that.

If you’re going to change it… damn well change it to something new/exciting/out there.

This is like the exact same logo.

Don’t get me wrong… I’m all for not having changed it to begin with as it didn’t need it… but it sure as heck didn’t need a no change to this.

Edit… the enlarged version on the black background does give it more oomph I guess but my point still stands

Win: The word St Kilda in the badge.
Win: The previous ribbon very fuzzy/blurry when used as smaller icon on digital media. This one will look crisper and be easier to use.
Win: No conflict with current sponsor.
Win: Still looks totally like us.
Win: No gaudy over hyped cartoony modern re-interpretation.

Verdict: Thumbs up - now smash 'em.

Try adding 1 or 2 zeroes on the end of that number.

What's lame about it? It's not much of a change, except the ribbon is gone - so what, but at least the name is there. Logos need to be simple!

A bit slicker, I was so worried that they would do something really stupid, after all, I remember the yellow jumper and recently seeing the stick figure saint rendered too big on the recent jumper making it sit too low and a bad balance on the smaller jumpers I was thinking they didn't know what they were doing. But thumbs up on the logo.

You know I thought that but didn’t want to appear too foolish by going way over. Now I’ve been too foolish for going way under.
