Post: # 2082160Post bobmurray »

saintmike65 over on Big Footy has informed everyone that pre-season training started today for 1st to 4th year players.

Pre-Season training will be Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays @ 10.00am.

How many defenders will The Saints pick in the 2024 draft ?

Poor bastards!

In Springfield, they're eating the dogs. The people that came in, they're eating the cats. They’re eating – they are eating the pets of the people that live there.

Not the worst centre bounce line up in the league.

Just saw the photos on the saints page.
Arie is looking like he has shed the puppy fat.
Hunter still looks to have no definition, but Macrae doesn’t either, and he can play, so does it even matter?

I'm sure that he will do as much as the fitness staff ask him to but surely he is just naturally a slim build and he might never be able to build up to what we think a "normal" AFL footballer should look like.
Maybe he can be another Robbie Flower?

That is good news re Butler, who had a shocking off-season last year - ankle operation, failed recovery then second ankle operation. I hope he has a fair crack at it this off-season.

I live 75% of the time interstate so really appreciate posters giving insight into the pre-season training.

Please keep it up as I know other interstater’s like Loris also enjoy the training reports.

Thanks in advance 🙏

It was either Darby Hipwell or Blake Watson from Sandy training with the boys.

Both short and stocky and underwhelming VFL players
