Dates know so far...

2024 AFL Trade Period calendar
Oct 4 - AFL Free Agency opens
Oct 7 - AFL Trade Period opens
Oct 11 - AFL Free Agency closes
Oct 16 - AFL Trade Period closes

AFL Draft..
Wednesday, November 20
Thursday, November 21

Pre Season and Rookie Draft
Friday, November 22

Clubs can also bring in players during the pre-season supplemental selection period (SSP), which runs over summer, before the start of the 2025 premiership season.

The AFL Pick Swap window has officially opened on October 17, and closes on November 8th.

The Delisted Free Agency window runs from November 1st to the 8th.
