Good played, good players, good players!

Interesting bit from a zero hanger post about our draft prospects that I hadn't seen anywhere (apologies if someone else posted and I missed it).
The club has also committed to drafting one player from the Sandringham Zebras to its rookie list, with all three of Cole, Hofmann and Peckett eligible after making their VFL debuts this year.
I hadn't thought of any of them as eligible so wondering if anyone here knows for sure.

What a bonus if we can use one of Hoffman or Cole to circumvent the compulsory list spot rule for a zebra. If Peckett doesn't get bid on, we can automatically list him as a rookie. A big win for the club.

I’ve known him for a long time, having played under him.

A nicer bloke you’d never meet!!! Very good leader and footy coach - especially at local level. Very professional!
I do know of his work and have been told by a couple of mates who played under him that he was an excellent teacher and motivator, so it would appear we are in furious agreement about his abilities.

I also note, not surprisingly, that his overall record in coaching and development is excellent. It's for these reasons that Bassat and the club targeted him for his current role. Good work by those in charge.

If you refuse to quote at least repeat names in full so other posters don't have to scroll up and down trying to find out who the bloody hell you're talking about!

Jagga Smith reminds me of Kevin Bartlett.

Looks like Langford is a chance to slide to us, if Norf take Tauru.

I'd be happy with that, and open to splitting 8 with GWS

Or take Reid

Fox footy have released another phantom draft:

https://www.foxsports.com.au/afl/draft/ ... 9df93fa5ab

They have Draper sliding to us (a good deal for us, but I can't see Adelaide not taking him), and then us taking Travaglia with our second pick.

It's a good thing that the draft is tomorrow night so we start abusing the club for taking the wrong players. 😁

Is it not the tradition that they head straight to "Mason Wood Lodge"?
