was he offered 1 yr by us
Very much doubt it.
If we had no intention of keeping him he would have been delisted already, we were never going to get anything in a trade because as a delisted FA he could walk to whatever club just by not re-signing with us.
I believe the plan had been to offer all the out of contact guys a minimum contact basically as depth and if they can find a better deal elsewhere good luck to them.
Would have been gone at the end of last year if StKilda could.
I appreciate you hold a grudge against Tim from (at least) when he needed some personal time before our final against GWS, but if the Saints had made up their mind about cutting him they would have a month ago when the season ended.
They could have paid him out at the end of last season if they were really desperate, like Port have done this year with Tom Clurey
Suggest that Tim will kick no more than 15 goals for the Pies firsts.
The main reason for recruiting him may be to get IP on our recently outstandingly successful forwards tactics
and to keep Lipinsky and Mihocek honest. Tim's tatts also provide a kind of complimentary camouflage for Jamie Elliott.

They would have if they could have. As I have posted it would have been a PR Nightmare.
Membrey is a good player but it's time to get someone younger.
In Springfield, they're eating the dogs. The people that came in, they're eating the cats. They’re eating – they are eating the pets of the people that live there.
Bone on bone. Cannot do the two footed jump he was renowned for. If he hadn,t got a contract with Collingwood he would have retired. Good luck to Skunk-a lovely bloke who was extremely coachable

Yeah sure Don

Interesting.
Tim averaged 14 disposals, 8 marks and kicked 14.3 in his last 6 matches.
He also ‘reportedly’ passed a medical at Collingwood.
Pretty fair effort for a guy who is “bone on bone” (knee presumably) who can no longer perform his trade mark two foot jump.
There's only one rule in the jungle! When the LYON's hungry, he eats!
I'd like to know the reason he pulled out of the final last year.

if this is true, will he struggle to get through a pre-season, let alone a whole year of 'bone-on-bone' ?
Repeated sprints during training will reveal any weaknesses. How will he pull up?
The Pies medicos would be some of the best around.
God knows the club has the money.
I recall preseasons as a young fella for a Vic Amateurs side, on an oval on North Rd, in Death-Valley type heat, doing several 400m sprints one after the other.
For me, it seemed like recruit training in the army.
It's crushing
A real Sainter will pledge allegiance to the ❤ and despise the Pies, the Blues, and the Injectors.

It shows how desperate Collingwood is to find a key forward, they're like hen's teeth, and they probably considered it worth taking a punt on Tim to remain injury free.
But 2 years for a 30 year old undersized KF with a dodgy knee, who struggled to get on the park this year????
That could end up costing them dearly....

Been pretty widely reported that he had a mental health episode the day/night before the game.
We all know that but....has he sorted it out?

Thanks Tim for your service to the club and good luck in the future, we will miss his level head up forward and especially with max king flapping his arms every time he doesn’t win a pack mark. And this hurts to write but well done Collingwood for taking a pint on a 30 yo player with knee issues.
Now it’s time for the younger guys to get game time. No excuses for Sharman not playing up forward except form.

Someone said here we offered a one year deal.
I think he was going to be backup.
Maybe same at Collingwood backup, but he might think more chance of playing there.
