Re: Would you
Unless we trade in a different second rounder, we can’t lose both future first & second round picks.

Re: Would you
Smith bought a property in Jan Jac according to Josh Jenkins and Brad Johnson on trade radio.
Josh also suggested Smith could do the daily commute with Boris Enright if he wanted to live on the surf coast and still play for St Kilda
We could use Mcrae as leverage. I don't think we have much else to entice Smith...Let's stick it up the pussies

Re: Would you
Watching what Oliver has done to Melbourne's culture, a reluctant Smith would not be a good idea for us.
The numbers make sense as far as trade value, but I'd prefer picks 7, 8, 13 & 27, and just take the best available at each pick, and get McCrae for pick 47

Re: Would you
I wouldn’t give pick 47 for McCrae.
Maybe we should look at Kennedy instead.

Re: Would you
I’d tell Smith’s management - and the Bulldogs - that if Cats aren’t prepared to - or unable to - find a top-10 pick for Smith (which I reckon is market value), then we’d be prepared to do Smith and Macrae for picks 8 & 47.
Forty-seven is about right for Macrae. Very good player on a big contract and not getting much of a look-in for their midfield. We’d be taking on a lot of his contract at a significant cost to us … effectively a salary cap dump for them.

Re: Would you
Last 3 Seasons scroll to the right. Joey explains the stats averages are per every 100 minutes of football. That eliminates discrepancy with being the sub, because obviously both players have had reduced game time in the last 2 seasons
If you don’t have Insta…it’s Joey on foxfooty doing a stats comparison - kennedy v mcrae for the last three seasons NOT just this season

Re: Would you
I would love to see us trade all our futures for next year to get a pick in the 14 to 16 bracket than use that to snap up smith. If he leaves next year who cares we will still get decent compo.
