Alot on here bagged out Hannebery when he was at the Saints.
I slammed management for such poor decision making but never the player.

He was absolutely brilliant, but his body gave way as it does us all.

If he believes a player like Hunter ( who I still think has been B grade so far) has the potential to be a star, Im keen to see it!!

Bear in mind North Melbourne made an unsolicited attempt to get him onto their List 12 months ago and on the back of his horrific injury record

They recognised his potential - noting the similarly blighted Coffield is now with WB and still injury prone

The difference between the 2 is that Clark is evolving to the mid he was always going to be with his skill set but Coffield remains a defender

bm - I heard a fellow lament one day - when his hair on his head started to fall out, God took it off the top off his head and started stuffing up his nose, into his ears & on his eyebrows !!

And on the same theme here's another little known bit of science, this time about the human brain - for example did you know that the male brain is up to 13% larger than the female?

Studies have found that men have a sexual pursuit area of the hypothalamus that is more than twice as large as women's.

The hypothalamus is an area of the brain that produces hormones that control body temperature, heart rate, hunger and mood.

This area in male brains is stuffed (pun intended ) with two times more cells, and is very sensitive to testosterone stimulation, because it has far more receptors than the same area in the female brain does.....

someone on here said Clark is a B Grader.

if we look at pure raw numbers, he's not elite or A Grade.

But as with any objective assessment using numbers, they don't tell thr full story.
It's not just the numbers, it's how the ball is gathered and what he does with it.

He's not A Grade, sure.
But if we just looked at numbers, Bonner would've been given a 2 yr extension.

Just wanted to comment on how fit and healthy he's looking.

He finished playing footy with St Kilda in the best condition he'd been in for the whole time he was at our club. I think he was best on ground in our final round match against Sydney in 2022. He nearly continued his AFL playing career with the Suns but he decided he didn't want to go through the mental toll and the spotlight on him, especially if his body broke down again. He also said he didn't want to put his family through that stress again

In the end though...he can look back on a fine playing career... and a healthy bank account thanks to his old man's mate
