Peatling
This guy must be half decent as, including us, 6 clubs are chasing him.
To be honest, I just want to sign him because it would be nice that a sought after player like him came to us for a change instead of the usual clubs who get players like him.
It would beva sign that just maybe we're becoming a destination club that appears to be on the verge of success.

Think of me long enough to make a memory.

Re: Peatling
Since round 16 (when he was anointed as a first choice centre man for the giants) he has ranked elite in all the stats that matter (clearances, pressure acts forcing turnover, tackles, contestant possessions, disposal efficiency etc). He is a genuine gun.

Re: Peatling
I don’t rate him that highly
Played as a defensive forward in the last 4 games.
Is massively overrated
Beware the 4th banana in a top team.

Re: Peatling
What are you talking about? He played as a predominate inside midfielder across finals and the last 6 rounds of the year. He had giants second highest CBA attendances and averaged more mid time than Kelly, Congilio, Whitfield and Greene put together. Not to have a go but I’m positive you haven’t watched a single GWS game and wouldn’t even know what Peatling looks like nor what his number is.

Re: Peatling
If you’re referring to the Brisbane semi final, he played on Zorko for about 10 minutes lined up exclusively in the middle and on the wing. When he kicked both those goals he was in the middle and drifted forward, also had 11 CBA’s. Wasn’t his best game tbh.

Re: Peatling
Imagine if we traded our second round pick for Peatling, given it’s the pick they traded to us to move down the draft order by one place.

Glad he is

Good for him. I'm still wondering if he's any good.

Re: Peatling
Do kid yourself. We are not a destination club.
What do we offer?
Not prime time ( yippee Sunday twilight on foxtel)
No big crowd
Lots interstate travel
No surf lifestyle
No 'Cotton On' Managerial jobs for the other half
No living away - cost equalisation allowance
Let's be honest
No winning culture
Don't worry fully aware that Demons, Dogs and Roos are firmly in the same boat.
