Yep
A few boys playing for their careers, so I'm not expecting bruise-free footy

Butler is too far off his 2020 form, but this game is his last chance to bring his A-Game.
He did some good things vs Cats but only the coaches know if he's done enough

Re: Predictions this Round
Saints to win by 10 points against Carlton's reserves team, in a 10 goals to 8 nail biter.
How many defenders will The Saints pick in the 2024 draft ?

Re: Predictions this Round
So it will be a return to RTB's signature style of rugby meets auskick, where we squeeze the life out of the game because the players are scared of losing, rather than trying to win.
Because RTB hates high scores

Re: Predictions this Round
If the blues can actually field the team they have named they will probably win more to play for, better mids, solid backline and Curnow to kick a few against Howard that said it would be great to beat these salary cap cheats.

Re: Predictions this Round
You're thinking the squad think they're world beaters, and they've got big heads now.
I can't remember the last time we had a decent 1st quarter, even vs Tigers in Gather Round, we didn't turn up till much later in the game.
Good chance we start badly and then look at each other at half-time and say 'I'm trying but none of you blokes are'

Re: Predictions this Round
Curnow and Williams are out.

McGovern will probably play ( imo) even though he didn't train.
This is basically our Grand Final. I'm tipping a tough match and a 4 point victory to St Kilda. .
Go Sainters

Re: Predictions this Round
It’s great to have gotten the wins of late but it’s turning out to be a double edged sword……while we will get a top 10 pick in the draft we keep going lower in it …we were 4 now 6 ….

Re: Predictions this Round
The Suns will win today and should win well and finish above us. The Richmond team is too skinny to compete with a team so full of top end talent.
If the Suns fail to turn up today, as they failed to do against North Melbourne in the final round of last season btw, I would respectfully suggest Hardwick gut the list and start again, because it will mean that the Suns are not even trying.
We should win today, especially in light of their injuries and the fact that they are returning from a game over in Western Australia, and I am confident of us winning, but they do have a lot to play for.
