Sinclair questions
His first number was #40
His first yr in seniors, 2015
Games 18
Avg disposals 10.78
2016
Games 9
Avg disp 12.56
2017, was handed the fabled #35
Can anyone recall the circumstances around the number change?
Curious
I reckon there's youngsters in juniors now who wear 35 for Sincs hoping to be as good, without knowing about Harves.
Both men elite and superb leaders.

A real Sainter will pledge allegiance to the ❤ and despise the Pies, the Blues, and the Injectors.

Re: Sinclair questions
It was left vacant for a few years after Saunders left.
They may have been looking for a longer term option after Cripps decided to go home after two seasons.
Inspired choice to give it to Sincs.

Re: Sinclair questions
He got the number when he was moved off the rookie list onto the main list. After those couple of years as a rookie the club had seen enough to think that he could be a goer.
However, even then, I really do wonder whether they thought that he would be as good as he actually tuned out to be.

Re: Sinclair questions
Champion Data had rated him as elite long before everyone else realised that he was.

Re: Sinclair questions
As a kid my favorite player was Darrell Baldock, then a bit later a Tony Lockett fan.
Barry Breen and Andrew Thompson were also given the honor of wearing the revered number 4 jumper.
Can anybody recall the recent circumstances where the number 4 has been allocated?

After that, Gresham I think which was warranted.
