Out Stocker
In Dow
Out Henry
In Heath or Keeler
We were undersized this week anyway and Essendon go tall.

Re: Team vs Essendon
I don't mind our height/mobility at the moment.
Keeler's best shot at a debut next week.
Henry out, Dow in
Garcia should start. Byrnes to sub.
Clark should be subbed in or out instead of just playing 60% game time.

I'd hate to be a Bonner family member coming on here for a look.

They might agree with the comment. You can't make a silk purse out of a sows ear.whiskers3614 wrote: ↑Sat 20 Jul 2024 7:07pm I'd hate to be a Bonner family member coming on here for a look.

Re: Team vs Essendon
Dow for Henry seems straight forward.
Maybe Arie for Stocker?
Garcia needs to be in the starting line up, but not sure who for. Hard to drop any of today's hero's.

Liam Henry needs an operation on his knee. It is a season ending injury.

Yeah, for an illegal late tackle for which Liam or the saints didn't receive a free kick.Big Max wrote: ↑Sun 21 Jul 2024 6:10pmCompliment of Harley Reidsamuraisaint wrote: ↑Sun 21 Jul 2024 3:51pm Liam Henry needs an operation on his knee. It is a season ending injury.

Re: Team vs Essendon
If Caminiti is fit he should play. I think it would work ok if he replaces Henry in the 23 and Bonner goes to sub (or is dropped and replaced by someone else).
Dow doesn’t really do it for me. I prefer Garcia to go into the Henry role.

Re: Team vs Essendon
Don't get the Stocker call as came back on, unless he has developed concussion symptoms since.
Out: Henry
In Dow.
Players need to earn call ups i think Keeler was good last week but not knocking the door down. Could make an argument Allison is in front with a bag of 4, 5 last week and then 0.4 this week.
Anyway i think 1 change only

Peter Wright may play but Bombers VFL had a bye last week so B Scott not sure.

Re: Team vs Essendon
The only way we bring in either player is if both Essendon rucks are selected to play again. I don't think they'll play Goldsteinsilverhalo wrote: ↑Sun 21 Jul 2024 10:10pm Would love to see Keeler in this week and/or even Max Heath......both deserve an opportunity
Even with both Goldstein and Draper, Marshall can handle ruck duties on his own. Rowan played a good game last time we met the Bombers in rnd 3. They played Goldie and Draper together.
It was a pretty even contest in rnd 3 and Stringer pulled one out of his arse late in the game. He's probably not going to be given as much rope this time around.
I'd love us to get one back on them, and I think with Skunk in good form and our forwards being a lot more potent, we should stick to Owens and Sharman as the key position forwards.

There's a rumour that either Battle or Wilkie is injured at training and may not play...
Hope it's wrong

Maybe not. After all it's only the druggies. If one of them is injured, bring back Shoenmaker. The Fireman wrote: ↑Wed 24 Jul 2024 8:01pmIf Wilkie is out we loseWellardSaint wrote: ↑Wed 24 Jul 2024 6:56pm There's a rumour that either Battle or Wilkie is injured at training and may not play...
