During the afternoon and early evening in Adelaide last week it was dry, noting the dew forming saw players in the SANFL slipping over when changing direction late in those games

Then it started bucketing down - and I mean bucketing down

This week we play under the roof at Docklands
"Select to win!"
But which game, non event v WCE or round 1 2025, a 2025 final perchance?

Apparently Yeo didn't get on the plane at Perth Airport today and Waterman is managed

Stocker for Paton like for like, Garcia for Arie - youth for youth.

Probably wish we had played a bit smaller last week in the rain and now compensating.

West coast fielding a VFL level outfit. Must win game given how shockingly poor their 22 is going to be.

Seems moose is not as far away from being selected as some posters would have you believe.

Also McLennan appears to be a keeper.

And, in regards size and wet conditions where it is a case of finding inches and then finding more inches so the contest is in your forward 50 the presence of big bodied players is invaluable, starting from the Ruck contests so, yes, Stocker would have been a welcome addition.

I think we were actually too small in the conditions last week, emphasized by by Adelaide bringing on a big bodied forward late, he icing the game.

We did not have a big bodied forward to scramble possessions in his direction

Lucky for a few that we haven't got great depth in the VFL, as we had too many passengers against the Crows. Might be that this week is the chance for them to pull their fingers out or else.

Seb's card must be stamped if Jones is preferred as 'the experienced mid' and also not named as an emergency.

Heath, Ross, Garcia, Stocker, and Hastie in.

Awful game against Adelaide to be a forward. Only 39 inside 50 entries and half of those were shitthouse

Still...I'd give Moose a game next week and give Membrey a rest. Give Webster next weekend off too so the two mates can do an all night session

If Stocker isn't fit, Timmy goes fishing without Jimmy.

If Liam Ryan is playing we need either Paton or Webster in the team
Paton is a liability
Paton went a bit harder at the contest than a lot of his mates the other night when he came on, and will hold his spot as I think Jones will now Pou is injured. Wilson looks like he has dropped off a little, and a trip to the VFL will benefit him. I think Lyon is at the stage of trying anything in desperation now, so who knows what the team will look like.
Omitted means he didn’t!!!

Hastie must be doing poorly? Arie must be banged up. A special request from Brad. Has to be sub?

I think with Arie that he has had a solid tun at it. It will help him to develop as he will really know what he has to work on now.

I hope Garcia starts though. We need another option to run through the midfield. Maybe even let him try out Wind's Tagging role.

I thought Gossage was a Saints supporter?

Disappointed that Schoenmaker was dropped. I'm confident he will be a player

Gossage is on meth. Wet Toast have rolled out a WAFL Team. And Scott Watters? That’s when I stopped reading

Gossage is a St Kilda supporter. Many supporters think we have become unwatchable and that Ross is living in the past.
Why anytime someone criticises the Saints do we get the questioning of their support of the club?

I say it because they trot out the same lazy boring cliches crap and do no deeper analysis than a fingernail
We played swans recently- they flooded back on us like no tomorrow….but it’s saints who play boring footy??

He's a western australian so his opinions don't count IMHO.

My company booked Gossage a few times to MC our quiz nights.
In person, he's as big a flog as he appears to be

Ari was good in the first quarter last week. But needs a break. I hope they don't use him as the sub. He needs game time at vfl to develop.
Paton also needs game time, either at vfl or a go in AFL level.

It should all be about development.

Seb, Jones, Bonner are all list cloggers. Use and use up. Not getting any better, not part of our next Premiership team. Put Butler and Membrey in that boat as well.
Use and use up. They have no trade value,

If you've ever spent any amount of time in WA you will know the answer to this question:

Do West Australians have a chip on their shoulder?
