Post: # 2068812Post Jacks Back »

Seeing as I'm not able to go to the match today I thought I'd start the match thread - Go Saints!!!

Paton the sub.

What's an acceptable performance today?

Lose by no more than 2 goals and I'd be very impressed.

A win. We have been known to beat the eventual premiers during a season (not sure if the swans will be premiers but they are looking good).

Big potential for egg on my face but we tend to drag opposition down to our level and not lose by much generally. So I think it might be closer than expected

For me I’m hoping Pou has a big game

McCartin gets paid a mark that he held less than Wilkie that gave Sydney a goal.

Umpire gives Sydney player 5 warnings on the mark.

Dominating the 2s for a bit was always going to be beneficial!

Look, the effort is great, we get early goals. But, again our forward 50 work is still not good, or, we don't sustain it, we should have scored another goal or two.

Remember Rosewall and Laver …. Didn’t care what the ump says cause sometimes it goes your way and sometimes it doesn’t…..move on and put your energy in to what you can control

It’s nice you can add something positive to a thread Curly, please keep it up.
Now this week please give us readers a rest and don’t umpire bash all the time. I’d appreciate that thank you😊
