Yep suggest a few people STFU
You are entitled to your moronic spamming of Cheating Umpires, AFL bias and Ryan Byrnes, but you think others should STFU about King?

Everyone is entitled to their opinion, and this injury may account for his performance against PA, but he has not been at his best this season, not just last round.

I’m not a player basher, be it King, or the young fringe players you slander like Byrnes or Paton, but each poster has their right to post their opinion.

Even halfwits who spam the forum week after week, year after year with their victim mentality and nonsensical injustice rants have the right to post.
Righto Big Boy settle time for your bex.

My opinion on his efforts throughout the year remain.

You might as well put the whole team up for trade and start afresh. Would that solve anything?

They moved him into the Ruck with an injured knee?

Put on a brave face then actually started running around the park? He was only moved into the ruck in the last quarter.
For the first 3 quarters he barely moved out of the forward 50.

With an injured knee. Put on a brave face?

Bigger story out there. I am picking it involves taking a break from the game.
Clearly his head isnt in the game at the moment. A primary schooler would have been able to push him off the ball on the weekend. His sooking, tantrums and body language have been appalling for a long time.

Maybe we can send him over for a holiday with Nick.

Ross, Steele, Roberton, Membrey, Battle, Bruce, Clark, Webster, etc...

Our current "development" department is a misnomer.

Playing youngsters does not constitute development.
Yes….Richo developed the shyte out of that lot…hence the raging success ….everyone marvelled at our “development “

That's only 8 young players I mentioned, and yes, they did develop well under Richo, linearly and progressively.
They didn't become matchwinners overnight, but the baby steps were in the right direction.
Unlike what we're seeing currently.

We're talking about young players ... their gradual development alone was not enough to make up for the inherent shortcomings (of the other 14 or so established players ... that made up the squad of 22 ) or for the wholesale injuries that occurred.

Development then and now is chalk and cheese., make no mistake about it.

Did you accidentally leave out mention of Mav, Newnes and Longer?

And did they blossom/reach new heights at any other club?
That's the reason I left them out.

No accident about it (nice try, though).

Newnes, Longer and Mav obviously reached their ceiling,
Richo (and the development team under him) got the most out of them. They also played the bulk of their AFL games at St Kilda... that should tell us something.

I doubt they would have squeezed into our current side.
