I find it hard to believe that he is being instructed to lead and present all the time and just refusing to do it. If he is then why has he not been dropped for refusing to follow coach's instructions?
Probably something like - keep their best defender occupied and bring the ball to ground.

I want to see him playing high CHF

Suggesting Max was told to let Zerk-Thatcher humiliate him is a bit much for even you two ideologues, isn't it?

Yes, because of course he plays differently every other week doesn't he. Every other game he dominates his opponent by leading into space constantly and never tries to play like a stay at home gorilla forward.

Either Ross wants him playing the stay at home forward or he has no control over what is happening on the field. Your choice.

Zerk-Thatcher ...yeah thanks for reminding me

Maybe Lethal Leigh's idea to put King in the ruck to 'force feed' physicality into his game isn't such a crazy idea

I'm really happy with Caminiti in the backline, so play King, Owens and Sharman forward

If they drop Campbell. We're back to Owens filling in when Marshall is rested.

They should rotate both King and Owens for stints in the middle when Marshall is on the bench or for a different look in our forward line

Owens has been really disappointing this year. He doesn't get enough possessions.

He played as a mid before he was drafted

What position did he play last year when he racked up 27 (19 contested) with 2 goals v Gold Coast?

It could have been as a high half forward either way it seems a lifetime ago

He plays high half forward but these days there are no set positions. I think Ross did say he was put into the midfield at stages. I don’t think he impacts enough given the ability he has.
