We’ve never played a game at Seaford - it’s never been our home ground!

It was a training base

Our Home Grounds
Junction
Moorabbin
Waverley

Without a pitch where would you get a quagmire. Flatter the pitch better the quagmire? Might even extend Seb's career. Give us a real home ground advantage.

Listening to Ricky Quade on radio

The relocation was exactly what was required at the time for South and has ended up being a very good outcome

He like the 10k Melbourne members were very happy in 2005

Oxford St Saints; Paddington Bears; Parramatta Pride; Bridge Walkers; Bondi Waves. Opera House Ospreys. Endless possibilities. Doco would have a tragic ending but.

No

But South supporters had zero choice

Relocation or die

But since Fitzroy and South moved up in the world

We have become the 2nd most irrelevant club in the AFL

? Fitzroy and south dont exist.

the only thing that are becoming increasingly irrelevant, are your comments
with all due respect.

Firey,

Don’t play the man because you don’t like the comments

By all means retort, but add to the discussion some of your pearls of wisdom
Maybe a bit more than RL fanboy

An idea that is not popular- is not a troll thread

Just like an idea that is blind faith loyal isn’t necessarily an apologist

If we had no choice

Relocate or die

I’d pick the former

Given a choice I would choose to stay in Melbourne

We might be called StK
We have zero affiliation with the suburb of StK

Well most of us aren't saints either but we sure are Saints.
Do you think most Richmond fans live on Swann St and Carlton supporters on Lygon St.
Word association: Moorabbin what first comes to mind.
Now: Broadbeach Hwy? Olympic Boulevard?

What has it got to do with where the fans live

To use your examples
Richmond - home base = Punt Road - Richmond
Carlton - Home base = Princes Park - Carlton

StK have not been in StK since 1965 or 59 years

Any merge would probably be with another cellar dweller, North for example if both clubs got the recruiting strategy worked out before hand they could eventually field a competitive team of young players but debt wise the combine would be massively in the red

No f****** mergers!

In Springfield, they're eating the dogs. The people that came in, they're eating the cats. They’re eating – they are eating the pets of the people that live there.

Keep in mind the current AFL bureaucracy want expansion. A merger does not compute.
Only when there are 20 sides or public interest wanes will minds be turned to equity of fixtures.
For the time being as long as Carlton, Collingwood and Essendon are getting sweet draws and interstate teams are middling competitive the status quo will stand, with the exception that a round zero and disparity in byes will have to be fixed quite time.
