It is hard to take the game on when you are coping an absolute flogging week in week out.
I have no idea if he is any good or not having not seen enough of him to comment.
However, Mason Wood was a player North didn't really want to keep and sometimes a change is all that is needed to flourish.

what about Josh Ward?
Also a high pick. Cant get into Hawks midfield but is only 20. Younger than Phillips but playing better at VFL level
Contracted but if you are playng vfl it is hard for a club to keep you to your contract or to get much in a trade
