Absolutely no need for the AFL to comment on that free or any other free after any weekend
They either need to STFU - ie make no comment
OR
Run out to the public a 20-50 page document each week outlining all the umpiring mistakes and inconsistencies over the weekend - because there are always heaps of them - but that’s just football - the umpires are human and they make mistakes

I think they might have commented on 1 other decision this year (?)

So if that is case - the official word from the AFL is the umps have made 2 mistakes all year ?!

Ridiculous the way they go about it

These controversial frees near the end of a game are a farce as every wrong decision in every minute of every game have the same effect on the eventual outcome.

The Ex-player Media Hacks who think they know everything should acknowledge this simple fact.
