Re: Hunter Clark!
Did OK?
With his not AFL fit body some on here have banged on about time in memorial.
Well, I would suggest that he spent near half the match on the bench (40%?) as he builds match conditioning into his AFL not fit body, and addresses the repeated and lengthy absences he has endured due to the injuries he has suffered including twinging his knee a couple of weeks ago.
And when he was on the ground, including in the last quarter, he impacted as we witnessed.
Has all the skills including on both sides of his body, which creates space.
And Dow, also off a long absence, was not too shabby either as he builds.
What you find is that, if you are disrupted and resume mid season you may get away with one impacting game but from there the time out really tells.
There is a reason for the pre season regime and the work done.

Move them to the AE rather than deleting them entirely so it’s not 1984.
Holder of unacceptable views and other thought crimes.

You can’t move individual posts, which would have been my preference. I’d have had to have moved the whole thread.
In fairness… reports for this came through a week ago and I left it. I only moved deleted them when the reports came in complaining that the discussion was derailing lasts nights addits RE Clark.

Yeah, I noticed that.skeptic wrote: ↑Sun 09 Jun 2024 10:59am Anybody see the incident near the boundary… don’t know when it was, maybe mid 2nd or 3rd
Clark was hovering round the grounded ball and instead of going down to get it right away… he kind of took an extra step and positioned himself in front of it as opposed behind it and then lead with his head down. At that exact moment, a GC mid charged through and kind of collected him waist to jaw and Clark went down hurt.
It wasn’t a bump per’se… it looked like Clark knelt down directly into the path of a running player.
My first instinct was that hurt his jaw again.
No free was called and he just shrugged it off
I was perplexed by the play all round
