The free that was paid against Steele was a penalty for the Saints not scoring when they had an opportunity. The umpires wil let it go if you can score. If you can't and it goes up the other end, then the umpires will give the other team a chance

Footy isn't soccer. The broadcast rights aren't geared around nil all draws.

Don't the Saints players understand the business needs of the channel 7 network?

If you can't kick goals they can't satisfy their advertisers. That's how it works

They need goals to fit in a certain amount of commercials. It's that simple
