I'd also like to see Heath get in and to swap with Marshall for ruck and forward.

Seating on the plane no longer in groups; goes: defender gets a window, mid gets a middle seat (naturally), defenders get an aisle. Get to know each other. Windy gets to sit with the pilot. Coaches get the door seats over the windows. We let umps have business class and choose the movie. Jimmy W does the safety briefing.

No wonder our forwards are doing so poorly, they don’t even get a seat on the plane. Obviously use ‘Shank’s pony to get to the match!!Yorkeys wrote: ↑Tue 04 Jun 2024 2:57am Seating on the plane no longer in groups; goes: defender gets a window, mid gets a middle seat (naturally), defenders get an aisle. I have been captured by the emphasis on defending!loris wrote: ↑Tue 04 Jun 2024 1:25pmNo wonder our forwards are doing so poorly, they don’t even get a seat on the plane. Although I could pretend I had an image of the forwards bumbling around the aisles, rest rooms and gally unsure of themselves.

Team is up. No change. Although I think Butler will come into the 22 and Ross will be Sub.

I can’t believe no crouch. You need an older fella in the 2s to teach the way and I thought it would have been Ross getting dropped, Crouch in. Bonner out for Arie. Arie has been tearing it up and smashing the door to be selected. Needs a game.

Puzzling, I wouldn't have thought that is in his DNA. Maybe doesn't think he can fit all of Dow, Steele, Windy and Ross in the same side.
I thought Dow was good last week though, so if someone was to go out I wouldn't have chosen him

Bonner got the DCM from Port because although he can get 30+, they go all over the place like a baby's breakfast.
Drop the fool until he decides to learn how to kick

Anyone think crouch could be serving an internal suspension? Seems bizarre he’s not getting picked.

Re: Changes for Gold Coast
Had a big win over a team that’s second last on the ladder, hence no change. Selections all year have been terrible, use of sub totally ineffective compared to the top teams

Arie's one step closer at least - he's an emergency!TheGreatZacsby wrote: ↑Thu 06 Jun 2024 7:59pm I can’t believe no crouch. So Ross has decided that Seb offers us more this week than Crouch would. He's probably the only person who follows football with that opinion.

Re: Changes for Gold Coast
Crouch can't fit into the side with Steele, Dow, Windy and Clark playing. Sebby isn't in the team to play as an inside mid, although he can play as a defensive tagger too.
Crouch is not the future. He's 30. If he had a clause in his contract to play a certain number of games to trigger an extension, then this is list management 101
Clark is 25 and Dow I think is 24. These are the guys we need to improve...the only way you do that is by playing them in the guts.

Well done RtB in leaving out Crouch

Boris
Banger
BJ
Damian Carroll maybe
Jake Batchelor might have a voice in Match Committee as well.
Something weird is going on.
Do they expect to lose (Suns are in a purple patch) so they don't wanna pick Crouch, give him another week without the extra pressure of AFL.
Long term, better for his rehab.
Seb, last week, got 3 kicks+3 handballs.
And 2 of each were in Q1.
He had about 16 Pressure Acts (across the game) which are pretty vague.
Are we seeing a repeat of Ross rewarding 'role players' that get hardly any ball but tick some weird boxes in RTB's insane fever dream?
