He's winning contested footy and that is important when you look at the way we kick goals and our messy entries inside 50. He is winning loose ground ball gets (which are highly rated by coaches)
He kicked the goal that got us going in the last quarter, plus he helped set up another goal for Mason Wood which sealed the win

David King on the broadcast said at the end of the match that Windhager won us the game. I suppose people here on Saintsational agreed with that
Luke Hodge or Jobe Watson often do the same thing as David King. They anoint some one as best on ground and some people are easily swayed by the so called 'expert's' opinion.
When you're at the ground watching a game you normally don't have someone telling you which player is playing well. You see it for yourself. You see the important moments that give your team inspiration
