Still effing pathetic
Time to sack the coach/coaches.
After 70 odd years I can't stomach the s*** the Saints serve up week after week.
4 goals in a half of football? You have to be shitting me.

Re: Still effing pathetic
Bit better in the second half thanks mainly to Windy.
I would still sack the coach/coaches.

Re: Still effing pathetic
Dumb football in the first quarter. Just so so in the second, but I thought we looked like we had more cohesion in that second half.
Dow and Clark were solid. Excellent job Windhager
Overall, a small step in the right direction

Re: Still effing pathetic
That sums it up.
We weren't tuned into their red time change of pace, in both the first and 2nd quarters.
On field match awareness will be something to work on.

The thread was started at half time before Enright took over the coaching but I suppose that would be beyond your IQ capacity to work out.

Re: Still effing pathetic
Windy to Reid should have happened 10 minutes into the second quarter. Did it take Ross getting crook and Enright taking over for it to happen??
All posters are equal, but some posters are more equal than others.

Re: Still effing pathetic
It was fair enough after the s*** that was dished up in the first half.
But hey everyone is entitled to have an opinion. Mine is that the coach is an out and out dud.

Re: Still effing pathetic
There’s some games you play well and lose
There’s some you don’t and win
This was the latter!
I’m very very frustrated by how we are playing, by the selection, by the match ups, by how we’ve gone backwards!
Fun at parties- yes
Fun watching the s*** StK dishes up - nope
We had all week to plan for that - and really
We were just lucky there was no Waterman or Kelly

Well for one
I don’t have to watch the footy
And watch my team play like s***
We are 12 games in
And have played ONE good game

Re: Still effing pathetic
It’s nice theory
Goes well with most of your dribble
Not based on facts though
Enright confirmed who coached all day in presser
Carry on with your story though …

Re: Still effing pathetic
Outscored them by close to 5 goals in the 2nd half
Can't complain about that
Should give the players a shot of confidence

Re: Still effing pathetic
Cheapshot Cornes says the game was clearly between two bottom-four sides. but "at least the West Coast have Reid".
I thought it was a pretty good game and the Saints performed well in the second half against a team that flogged Melbourne over there a couple of weeks ago (and almost overcame the Injectors before that).

Re: Still effing pathetic
I dont know what the naysayers saw
But I saw a team on its knees regain some composure, a glimmer of self belief and moments of connectedness that we all know were there lurking somewhere not far from the surface
I saw an cocky some would say unstoppable rising star have his ego held in check by a humble hardworking young man, finding out the accolades of AFL football come through application, dedication frustration and not necessarily through a few flashy bursts to establish an ongoing reputation
I saw a fair bit in hostile territory today that i didnt expect to see, least of all coming away with 4 precious points in the bank
The win today was important, while not holding my breath having more or less written the season off, I'm looking forward to the next game rather than dreading it
Come on you Fkn sainters
