Re: Votes vs Dees
Games like this (and others this year) are perfect examples of why B&Fs aren’t necessarily the best way to rate players

Re: Votes vs Dees
What is the current system we run? I think last I saw every player gets votes?

Yes, which brings up the bleeding obvious, why have the players (and the coach) lost the plot and look like they wish they were somewhere else?George27 wrote: ↑Sun 26 May 2024 7:16pm Today is my birthday. All the Saints gave me was some junk time goals. So depressing.
5. Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera. Far from perfect , but our best ball user. At age 21, seems to be our most poised, mature player.
4. Jack Steele. Our best midfielder ( yes I know that equates to being the best ice hockey player in Jamaica)
3. Mason Wood. I thought he was our best in first half. Faded.
2. Max King. Should have beaten May in one particular one-on-one , or at least buried his knees in May’s kidneys in attempting to mark) , but did present a bit better and kicked straight .
1. Liam Stocker. Good early .
Liam Henry showed glimpses. Sinclair late, but not enough early. Not much else.

I only counted 36 for Steele, 31 for NWM, 29 for King, and equal 20 for Mason Wood and Jack SinclairSainter_Dad wrote: ↑Thu 30 May 2024 9:00pm 40 Steele

After the 2 threads were merged, George27 voted again. I think you might have counted George27's votes twice
Sorry for the extra work

Re: Votes vs Dees
My understanding of the TBA is that votes are given to each player based on their contribution.
The total number of votes given is not fixed, so that for a loss, a lot less votes are awarded than in a win.

Re: Votes vs Dees
Sorry I was the cause of confusion. Normally I fire off my votes right on the siren, but this time I struggled to find 5 players so took a little time - then after I posted I realised someone else had started another thread, so I reposted in that thread. I was trying to be helpful but turned out to be unhelpful!
This week I will open the thread straight after the game , so to avoid confusion. Let’s hope there are many worthy candidates for votes !
