I think it’s the current Ross gameplan, clog up the game as much as possible and make scoring hard then hope to snatch a victory at the end.

Ruck is a very important role. Gawn though is well above others in terms of ruck craft.

How many games have you been to, if we had someone forward if the ball He would have kicked it straight away. As soon as he hesitated and stopped, I knew there was no one forward of the ball, because consistently the only players in our forward 50 when we win the ball on half back are opposition defenders.

Instead of having a long drawn out post. I have watched the same thing from St.Kilda for 10 years. We win the ball on half-back but have no one forward of the ball to kick it to.
What happens, we kick it directly to a defender, or put ourselves under pressure and make terrible skill errors, it's been our problem for a long time.
However, the last half of that quarter was much better and it was great to see Max take two good contested marks and kick 2 goals.
