The guys that sing when we get goals

Post: # 2061256Post seano1 »

Not sure if any of them are on here ….unfortunately would like to see you guys go home hoarse but with the boss as coach can’t see that happening. But your work is very entertaining and should be blasted more into the stands to further get our fans joining in .
Well done keep up the good work

I sit in the next section on the aisle seat so really close. They are just fantastic and the reason I chose that seat. The smiles on kids faces when the people sing is worth the entry fee. Love it.

It sounds like a wonderful idea. Certainly better than having a drink every time we score a goal, which could leave one feeling a little thirsty.

Plenty of drinks in this patch:
Round 8 2004
St Kilda 21 12 Collingwood 13 13
Round 9 2004
St Kilda 26 13 West Coast 9 14
Round 10 2004
St Kilda 31 10 Carlton 13 10

And then Grant decided to experiment with the team and we lost two games which cost us the flag.

Did he? I don’t recall that. I was at the Swans game at which the streak ended and my recollection is that we fielded our best available side.

What did he do? Please remind me.

He dropped Jason Blake to give Kosi more time in the ruck. We lost the ruck in the next two games, worst of all against Footscray the week after Sydney where Darcy killed us. Blake came back the following week, but the damage was done. It meant we finished third and had interstate finals trips to Brisbane and Adelaide. Finishing first or second would have meant all home finals.
