Stodgy midfield. It's the same old story. The only player we can count on to win a clearance is Marshall. You see the way Newcombe attacks the clearances with speed, aggression and energy. Our guys are tentative and flat footed. I've said it many times and I'll say it again. We will NEVER be a top 4 team with this midfield even if all the other pieces are in place

All Marshall’s clearances are hacks forward that rarely (or ever?) favour us, it just rebounds back over our head.
