Why wouldn’t he go to Tassie?

Darren Parkin on his podcast confirmed that Crouch has a degenerative knee condition and while he’s due to return, his longer term future remains unclear.

The rationale for keeping MOwens out of the midfield is losing cred?

Feel sorry for Hunter if it's a serious knee issue.
One thing after another, and must be wondering if it's going to happen for him.
I think we have to consider Crouch's career just about over. Excellent pick up for us while it lasted.

I dont at all.

It's the old story he hasnt put in the work in physical prepartion he continually exposes himself to injury. The bloke has had 7 years to build an AFL ready body and he still looks like a park footballer.

The best thing for Hunter and the club is to off load him at seasons end.

Wow....nice.

So, when Robert Harvey was suffering his multiple hamstring strains in the middle of his career, I suppose we should have dumped him.

I suppose we should dump Max King, too.

And that Liam Henry. Tore his hamstring in his second game. Let's get rid of him. Clearly hadn't prepared himself properly.

The Hunter Clark bashing continues by the keyboard hard arses. Most of his injuries have been contact injuries, for God's sake.

As for comments about the shape of his body, did you ever see Matthew Lappin play? That skinny Kade Simpson went tokay for 342 games. Chunky Dane Swan went okay, too.

Tony74 has stated on here that Hunter 'is lazy and unenthusiastic' to weights (his words) and needs to hit the gym with a passion.

29/9/2022.

In 'Search', put 'unenthusiastic', 'Clark' 'gym' and 'tony74' for 'author'

Even if he goes and deletes it, it's been quoted by many on here, so it's locked in

Good news for both Hunter and Fruity. Hunts knee escaped any serious injury. And to dispel any doubts Clark’s pre season with running and weights was first class. Doesn’t mean he enjoys the weights session, but he does it. Van Es likely to go on long term injury list

That's great news for Hunter, now let's hope he finally gets a break and gets the career that his ability deserves.
A long successful one.

Get him right before he goes back into the team.
He could be a valuable player. But concerning that he can't play for long before something breaks

I presume after Brett ‘Fruity’ Allison.

IIRC was ‘Fruity’ as he came from Canberra named after fruit fly.

He’s been on the list for 8 years!!

It’s not an outlier anymore. Either he is not preparing well enough or his body just isn’t up to AFL.
As was mentioned, why is he still a pretzel and has no muscle mass? Windhager at least ate weights over the summer and makes Clark look like a teenager.

Either way. If it’s long term, then time is up.

This is his seventh year - is it not?!

And he’s had a few little injuries along the way - like a smashed face!!!

Lincoln McCarthy spent 6 full years on Geelong’s list and could only manage 29 senior appearances due to various injuries.

Hunter Clark will recover from this.

McCarthy had a really good run in the last 5 years at Brisbane but unfortunately the team is cursed atm, and he’s one of 4 players to have done their acl this year including Kidean Coleman and Tom Doedee.

Will Ashcroft did a season ending acl knee injury midway though last year and prior to that it was Cam Rayner and Eric Hipwood.
