Most seem reassigned to a loss
Hard to know what an acceptable result would be.
Am not loving the fact the Caminati is playing hurt.
It’s been suggested Howard plays forward too which makes me feel we’re way too tall.
With Byrnes in poor form… feel like we’re a mid down too. Seems like less than 30points would be a reasonable result

A twitter coterie just posted that Misson said guys were sore, tired, 3 games in 11 days.
Caminiti might be ok.
Byrnes will be back to his best. Trust me
Howard supposedly hates fwd play and came to us on the promise of no fwd play

A real Sainter will pledge allegiance to the ❤ and despise the Pies, the Blues, and the Injectors.

What's that about Caminiti? I hadn't seen that, what's the story?skeptic wrote: ↑Fri 26 Apr 2024 8:16pm Most seem reassigned to a loss

Byrnes is not in poor form: he's a mediocre player IMO. But he runs around the field and occupies space in the way that Lyon likes.
Howard forward might work ok. It's not as if our existing forwards are going all that brilliantly.
All I'm looking to see tonight is a good effort. In a sense, we're under very little pressure as just about nobody is expecting us to win.

And how will we be able to distinguish that from his worst?

Tweaked his shoulder during the Giants I think, looked like maybe it was dislocated but maybe not. Came back heavily strapped and looked in pain over the last couple of weeks, and at training during the week by all accounts.meher baba wrote: ↑Fri 26 Apr 2024 8:23pm What's that about Caminiti? Re: Match Thread Saints v Port Round 7 2024
So the players have been out on the field for more than 5 minutes, and it's still 10 minutes until the scheduled kick-off time So should I assume we've got a whole lot of ANZAC day stuff to get through?

Re: Match Thread Saints v Port Round 7 2024
What's the point of all of this? We had a great ANZAC Day ceremony before the Pies vs the Bombers yesterday.
ANZAC day is over. If AFL were played over Xmas-New Year, would Santa show up before the game on Boxing Day?

I believe that the Anzac Ceremony is one of the most moving ceremonies in the world.
I also like how the Kiwis sing their anthem in Maori first.

I just hope we don't get belted by the Hinkley's.
How many defenders will The Saints pick in the 2024 draft ?
Re: Match Thread Saints v Port Round 7 2024
Howard did NOT leave Alberton because he did not want to play as a forward
He left for an entirely different reason and which was not an on field matter
The Port Adelaide CEO alerted the St Kilda Recruiting Manager of the circumstances, circumstances which were unable to be resolved
Port Adelaide did not wish to lose him but accepted his position
St Kilda were the beneficiary
He has been a very good and very committed performer at St Kilda who was sorely missed at the end of last season and over the commencement of this season
And another comment
Unless you are 100% fit to go Lyon does not select you

Is that a rhetorical question, or do you genuinely want to be educated as to the significance of the occasion?meher baba wrote: ↑Fri 26 Apr 2024 8:37pm What's the point of all of this? We had a great ANZAC Day ceremony before the Pies vs the Bombers yesterday.
