Because rushing the kicks has been soooo effective for us.

Rather kick it and be 1 point down with 20 seconds than kick a point and have 39 points to try and stop them from blasting it forward.

They were decimated by injuries in the last quarter, so it would’ve been highway robbery if we had have stolen that.

That being said I would’ve taken it.

The 6+ goals we gave them from turnovers is what cost us the game.

I totally disagree with your criticism. He had to kick the goal. He took the time he needed. He kicked the goal- AND there were still 41 seconds on the clock at the next bounce . As we saw, still plenty of time to win the game if we were good enough.

There were plenty of occasions where you might legitimately criticise our players , but not that player on that occasion.

Yes, we came back, but we seem to be playing only 1 good quarter this season. Essendon was the 1st, Collingwood and Richmond was the 3rd and can't remember Geelong.
Garcia keeps his spot next week.
Depending on King's condition we either bring Howard in and put Cordy forward, or bring in Hayes.
