Re: Match Thread vs Richmond
Am really not liking Jones or Byrnes at the moment… not great disposal… in which case you need a lot of ball and they’re barely near it.
Hate that Butler walked right back in and hasn’t gotten near it
King, Membrey, Coops and Caminati is just too tall.
Seems like everyone but the club saw that coming… heck I posted it on the team selection thread
They’re running the ball out of there liberally
And like everyone else… WTF is going on with Owens. He can’t get near.
One thing I’d like to see… Stocker has gone a lot more defensive this year. Kid is decent with the ball in hand. Wouldn’t mind seeing him run in the middle a bit.
Bonner for all his faults, has turned up every week so far

Re: Match Thread vs Richmond
I disagree with the negative assessments to a certain extent. Yes, we were poor in Q1, and yes we've allowed Martin and Bolton too much leeway. But we adjusted really well in Q2 and throttled the Tigers attack, while creating quite a few chances of our own. Like last week, our kicking for goal let us down.
We can still win this if we start nailing our shots on goal. (Big "if", I know.)

A few players need to fkn lift
Sharman- playing on a wing has been s***
Owens - almost Worst on Ground
Butler - is not having any impact
Caminiti- goal hungry
Zac Jones - 7 possessions in a half as a mid
Few other

Really disappointing first half. They started like they finished off last week, and so did we.

Re: Match Thread vs Richmond
Why doesn’t Sinclair just put it thru half goalpost high running in from 50?
Joke.

Re: Match Thread vs Richmond
How is it so obvious to everyone except the person kicking inside 50 that you can’t bomb it off a slow build up like that or McIntosh or Nank will clean up….

Re: Match Thread vs Richmond
Caminiti as second ruck is a better option than Owens

Over use of the ball cost us a goal.
