AFL’s been pretty clear about “hit the head, get a week plus” this year. And enforced it thus far I would say. Not sure arguing based on outcome will work for a head high hit this year as it has in previous years

Watched the video footage several times.

Brad Hill actually pushed Macrae into Max King who just happened to be in the vicinity. King had his arms tucked in and elbow was not raised, and I don't think the contact was even high.

Macrae fell to the ground, Max instantly gestured an apology and the umpire paid a down-field free, and Macrae was back on his feet. Downfield free? Whatever.. But really no issue, commentators said nothing, no player remonstrated. Really should have been the end of it.

One week for rough contact is just wrong. Saints must appeal. Even a downgrade to a fine is inappropriate, the case should be dismissed.
