Great pickup.
The boy is a superstar.
He’ll end up being our best ever half back at this rate.

I reckon he’s better than Nick Daicos. He’s a pillar of strength down back and can set up a dangerous attack. What a player!

Re: wanganeen Millera
See this is what I thought we were getting when we drafted a young man named Raph Clarke. An elite play maker that is good in the air. From memory Raph was taller and perhaps better aerially but geeez NWM is an absolute general in defence. Takes all of the hard kicks, backs himself to thread the eye of the needle, shrugs it off when he makes a mistake and largely organises the troops.
NWM is shaping up to be one of the super stars of the comp.

SEN 'player grade' article described Nasiah: 'We're watching the emergence of a superstar, here. He might be the best kick in the AFL and is now finding plenty of the footy and taking intercept marks to go with it.' Grade: A+skeptic wrote: ↑Fri 22 Mar 2024 1:09am See this is what I thought we were getting when we drafted a young man named Raph Clarke. An elite play maker that is good in the air. Just a pleasure to watch. When he has the ball you have confidence he's evaluated the options and made the best decision he can. Class players look like they've more time and NWM has that definitely.

Not much difference really skep, Raph was 188 cm, 82 kg, Nasiah is 187 cm 76 kg - if you take it a step further and compare him to St Kilda's best ever #7, Nicky Winmar was 183 cm, 81kg!skeptic wrote: ↑Fri 22 Mar 2024 1:09am See this is what I thought we were getting when we drafted a young man named Raph Clarke. Not sure he's better...Nick is an excellent player with very few flaws.meher baba wrote: ↑Thu 21 Mar 2024 10:45pm I reckon he’s better than Nick Daicos. He’s a pillar of strength down back and can set up a dangerous attack. What a player!
Imagine the hype, though, if NWM had a more famous dad and played for Collingwood!

At this stage N. Daicos lacks hardness. I'm not sure he appreciates the physical stuff.Life Long Saint wrote: ↑Fri 22 Mar 2024 3:02pmNot sure he's better...Nick is an excellent player with very few flaws.meher baba wrote: ↑Thu 21 Mar 2024 10:45pm I reckon he’s better than Nick Daicos. In Springfield, they're eating the dogs. The people that came in, they're eating the cats. They’re eating – they are eating the pets of the people that live there.

Squibbed at least 3 contests last night that I can remember. His ability to win the hardball has been my only criticism of him. It was pretty glaring last night.magnifisaint wrote: ↑Fri 22 Mar 2024 3:39pmAt this stage N. Daicos lacks hardness. Horses for courses stuff. He's only in his 3rd year and still relatively lightly framed.magnifisaint wrote: ↑Fri 22 Mar 2024 3:39pmAt this stage N. Daicos lacks hardness. Played off half back for a lot of his career, but he ranked 2nd for contested possessions compared to his other rising star nominations in 2022.
He's such a good user of the footy that you want him on the outside to find a target...Much like the way we're using NWM, Bonner, Hill, Sincs, and now Henry. Have Ross, Windy, Owens, and Steele doing the grunt work.
If you lined up Daicos and NWM and was asked to pick one, 99/100 people would choose Daicos, and the 100th would be the most one-eyed Saints supporter ever.
