Question marks are:
- Crouch going in without a practise game
- Does someone like a Jones pop up as far as i know isn't injured
- Canamiti on the bench perhaps as second ruck.
thinking of the opponent
- Wilkie / Hawkins
- Battle/ Cameron
- Does Geelong play a third tall forward?

Re: Round 1 side
I think Wilkie on Cameron and Cordy on Hawkins is the way to go.
Battle can take another week to recover from his niggles if needed. Windy to play backline.

Re: Round 1 side
Be fun watching Zaine and Hawkins sprint for the ball all by themselves in the F50. Must be a chance NWM could amble up from the centre and stroll past them before they got near it. Actually I'd expect them to fall over each other. Hawkins would of course dispute the play on call and beg for a free, supported by most of Norlane, or at least those released from custody.

Re: Round 1 side
Cordy will play. I haven't heard confirmation of Dougs injuries but it seems likely from the vision. Cordy probably doesn't need to play round 2.
Jones (if selected) and Crouch off no practice matches is as per the plan to manage their minutes, no issues there.
Windy, Dow, Sinclair won't play round 1.
Garcia or Jones will play Round 1 and be replaced by Windhager in Round 2.
Sincs to take Cordy's spot in the 22 but not the role. We just drop a tall for a small.

Re: Round 1 side
Dan Butler? If he's fit surely he plays, his pressure acts in the forward half go unnoticed but are so important to us. We only laid 3 tackles inside 50 against Nth to their 10. Their 2 running defenders got 68 disposals between them!

Re: Round 1 side
With the onset of all our injuries again I think there can be no doubt that our training and conditioning services all need to be sacked. Every year it is the same story with more than a dozen players out injured before round 1. Enough is enough. RTB, it's time to swing the axe again and get rid of the people responsible.

Re: Round 1 side
Sounds like Geelong have a number of “smalls” up forward, so we could really really really do with Windy getting up for this one, so that he can play on one of them. Otherwise we may have to swing Hill back there (not ideal, as him, Wangmil and Bonner don’t have too many defensive bones between them), or else another non-ideal option is to play the 194cm Schoenmaker on one of them.
Will be interesting to see whether Jones gets the sub role or full minutes. Pity there isn’t a VFL praccy match this week. Outside of Dangerfield Geelong look very weak and shallow in the midfield, so it hopefully won’t matter so much having Crouch and Zak playing off no lead-up games.
If it were me I’d be putting a hard tag on Danger. Not even sure who their next best in there would be. Looks a huge drop off in quality after him in there.
And have Sharman or perhaps even Owens or Skunk in Tom Stewart’s pocket all day.
Those two and Cameron look our biggest threats.

Re: Round 1 side
I suspect we won't be able to cope with a fit Dangerfield. Stewart and Cameron. Particularly without Sinclair, Howard, and Butler. Expect similar result to our last game, against GWS. But it will help shape the long term line up, especially if Higgins is wasteful. I tipped 1 from 4 round 0.

Re: Round 1 side
Wilson officially set to make his debut. And Windy, Battle, Jones and Pou have all been declared available, which is great news. Windy can potentially replace Webster and we’ll have ample midfield options, in Steele, Crouch, Seb, Jones, Pou, Windy and Owens.
Sincs trained fully and is also sounding like a genuine possibility to play if he gets through Thursday’s session without trouble.
Think the only thing we’re really missing is a genuine “pressure forward”.
B: Wilkie Cordy Stocker
HB: Wangmil Battle Bonner
C: Wood Crouch Hill
HF: Henry Membrey Owens
F: Higgins King Sharman
R: Roma Steele Seb
I: Pou Byrnes Windy Wilson
Sub: Jones
Strong and deep team and if Sincs gets up it’s going to obviously be an even better still.

Re: Round 1 side
Sinclair and Windy would be massive ins if fit.
Both can play half back
Sinclair can go for a burst in the middle
Windy can be an extra lockdown small defender if required
If they both fit then Jones plays at Sandy I reckon.
Windy most likely starts as the sub.

Re: Round 1 side
Another gun debuts.
The core is developing.
In last couple of years: NWM, Windhager, Owens, Pou, now Wilson. Add in Max, Henry, the side is infusing serious talent.
Can't wait for Collard to be ready.
All without special gifts from the AFL.
North really give me the s***s with the advantages it has been given for being crap on and off field. Where was that thinking when we were going nowhere .
Don't want to think about how the Tasmanian project is going to be boosted.
One thing certain, it will get an opening round spot and teams will not look forward so much to winter games down there.

Re: Round 1 side
Wow, Collard is playing! Didn’t see that coming. Must be pretty desperate for more forward pressure.
Didn’t even play the whole game against Norf so will presumably be sub for this one. Guessing this means Jones won’t be playing.
Sincs not playing either.
