Re: Roughead resigns
Yeah
They are a rabble
13 premierships since 1961
Most successful post war club
They are rebuilding at the right time - before Tassie
My guess they will be contenders in the second half of this decade

Just about the only club in the AFL not to have a modern training facility, but who cares.CQ SAINT wrote: ↑Fri 12 Jan 2024 3:13pm Melbourne are just all over the place.

If they moved there i wonder if any of their prima donna players would complain about the lack of coffee shops locally.
How many defenders will The Saints pick in the 2024 draft ?

No loyalty! f*** Hawthorn. He used St.Kilda as a work experience job.
In Springfield, they're eating the dogs. The people that came in, they're eating the cats. They’re eating – they are eating the pets of the people that live there.

Roughead didn't cut the mustard.

Re: Roughead resigns
Be fair it was an exchange: we give him an excellent generalist set of experiences in various non accountable roles and he gives serious IP to our forward set up, ruins a player of his choice and allows Saints players to see a premiership player up close (yes, they are only human). Seems fair, although clearly our forwards could not grasp what he was selling. (Actually, we might have a case for a breach of contract, did the forward line get worse. Oh Lethers, you've done it again.)

He had to take that. The janitor's position had already been filled.
