Yes so Ross plays VFL, and is midfield depth along with Jones. I'm OK with that.
I'll believe Keeler in defense when I hear it from someone other than a first post on Bigfooty.
Playing all three of Gresham, Butler and Higgins was too many small forwards, but could we see one Higgins or Butler get dropped for a midfielder rotating forward?
I don’t see Henry goal sneaking like Gresham to be honest.
Collingwood made it work with Jamie Elliot, Mccreery, Bobby Hill and even Ginnivan at times. I think Henry plays more mid than forward pocket. Let Butler be that pressure forward like Mccreery is and Bobby Hill and create goals. Let Higgins be Jamie Elliot.
There will always be room for a 204 cm training partner for Marshall. Campbell ain't got much longer..
Once Keeler starts leaping on him he will be more important.

So you don't think Heath will make it?
I dont think he will be a better forward than Keeler.
And I don't think either of them should replace Marshall.
I haven't completed my thoughts on Heath

Isn't it a case of finding an extra ruckman to support RoMa rather than replace?

I think Heath will make it but he won't be a star. Even if he replaces Campbell and is there as depth it should be ok. Keeler will be the real deal and will be the forward ruck that comes in to give Ro a chop out.
Going forward Marshall and Keeler will be in the best 22 with Hayes and Heath as backups/depth in case of injuries.
End of 2024 Campbell will retire and we should draft another ruckman through the National Draft.

No. That's not the case.
We need a forward, who will be BEST SUITED to support Roma, so Roma can support our undersized defence and take clearances away from the middle.
The choices are Hayes, Sharman and Qwens.
None of them have more rucking experience than Keeler and their attributes are not more suited for the ruck.
Moose cant run to save himself. When he get there, he can't jump. No wonder he is aggressive.

Maybe Caminiti can ruck.
well hopefully your boy can become the star, at the end of the day talent and skills in any position is all we need more of especially the Paddy Ryder types, (big call I might add).
Starting to lose hope with Hayes and the possibility he's going to remain injury prone to the point it cuts down his career before it takes off.
If however he was to get his body right then it's possible he keeps Sharman, Caminiti and Keeler out of the team for the short term especially if Members gets back to being an automatic selection.
If King can have full year, he will be the power forward.
Hayes is a powerful utility and is the second ruck choice. Otherwise he'd have been dumped. Fit he is probably well ahead of Heath.
Keeler is knocking on Hayes door, he doesn't have to be a star.
Caminiti, Wilkie, Marshall Sinclair, Hayes, were all originally over-looked. No one saw them coming.
I think we've done it again.
Hugo may just be another
Wilson at his pick was magic.
