Guernsey numbers next season
Given that Dow wore 2 at Carlton, number 1 would fit him nicely.
Phillipou could move to number 4 between Jones and Crouch if he is being groomed for a future midfield role.
15 for Wilson, where Butler can take him under his wing.
23 for Henry, given that he wore that number at Fremantle.
24 for Collard next to another new aboriginal player.
25 for Hastie, where Battle can take him under his wing.

Re: Guernsey numbers next season
27 for Garcia if we've recruited him as a forward to play under the wing of Membrey.
Otherwise if we've recruited him to play as a defender he can have 34 to be schooled by Paton (defence) and Sinclair (offence).

Re: Guernsey numbers next season
Here's my stab:
Promote Marshall to number 1
And Mason Wood to 2
They are club leaders
Wilkie (who obviously deserves to be promoted) I feel likes to stay at 44.
Sharman and Caminiti can be promoted to 23 and 27 (with some memory of their old nos 43 and 47)
Then,
Henry 4
Dow 15
Bonner 19
Taylor 24
Collard 32
Hastie 34
Garcia 36
Schoenmarker 37
O'Connell 43

Re: Guernsey numbers next season
Henry Dow, Bonner and Wilson should get low numbers, the rest should wait.

Re: Guernsey numbers next season
I'd like to see
2 Paddy DOW
15 Darcy WILSON
23 Liam HENRY
24 Lance COLLARD
27 Riley BONNER
34 Angus HASTIE
36 Hugo GARCIA
37 Arie SCHOENMAKER
45 Liam O’CONNELL
Maybe Caminiti can go up to 1, but not 4, don't feel he's earned that yet. No other changes, I feel most player numbers are entrenched now.

Yes -- Darcy Wilson, who I'm so damn keen on -- can't even write down his name.King Max wrote: ↑Sun 26 Nov 2023 2:08pmI assume that’s Wilson in 24.avid wrote: ↑Sun 26 Nov 2023 2:27am Here's my stab:

You're on the money with Dow. They did his locker 3 weeks agoavid wrote: ↑Sun 26 Nov 2023 2:27am Here's my stab:

In Springfield, they're eating the dogs. The people that came in, they're eating the cats. They’re eating – they are eating the pets of the people that live there.

Re: Guernsey numbers next season
some curious moves - and non-moves.
Caminiti stuck with 47. How many games do you have to play to get your name permanently etched on the locker ?. I I'm guessing he will be the only one with his name on the #47 locker if he eventually qualifies!
