AFLW - Great Win
Great win over Brisbane, one of last years grand finalists. We are now in the 8. I hope the competition and media finally takes notice and gives us some recognition.

Re: AFLW - Great Win
We were horrible last week - seemed not to handle the trip to Perth well, and never looked like it.
Today however was fantastic. Great pressure all day. Defended superbly into the wind in the second quarter, and kicked away.
Huge game next week against the Blues - win and we are a chance to play finals ( relying on other results).
The usual suspects ( Lambert, Ty Smith, Wardlaw and the sublime Patrikios ) were great, but Nic Stevens was superb on their big full forward - and Ash Richards is going to be a star.

Watson, Kelly and Jacobsen were strong running out of the backline today.
They used the wind well and followed up.

She does go hard
Doesn’t win enough footy for a mid at the moment though
Needs to work on getting to good sports

Re: AFLW - Great Win
Such a cracking game but it's a real shame that only 2000 bothered to turn up. Would be nice to see the boys lend abit of support every now and then by getting down to a game. Still got a way to go in working towards a one-club environment. The Demons do it well and I'm sure that's a big factor in why they don't lose any players.
Wardlaw and Lambert have completely changed the game for us as both are winners who hate to lose. The lift they give their colleagues is obvious. Hopefully we can smack Carlton and get into the finals.

Re: AFLW - Great Win
Great day at the footy on Saturday - the last qtr into the wind was saints footy at its best
The sainter sitting next to me said it was the best saints win for the year including AFL/AFLW - it was exciting
It wasn't looking great at 0-3, however agree that this years recruits have made a significant improvement to the playing group - with Lambert (natural footballer) & Jesse you can also add Serene Watson & Steph Chiocci who have all had influence
With ongoing improvement to in Georgia P, Ash R, (when have the saints had a better 21 & 22 combination), T Smith, Molly McD who are all young midfielders & add solid/quality defenders in Hannah P & Bianca J, we are building to something special.
Go Saints
