Me mate who's bro in law works at Arden St ( after overhearing the request for an email address) ....asked for an update on Howard going to North...he tells me the bro in law says f@ck off & tell your mate (me) to also f@ck off.

So that's big news. Not sure Ive earned ITK status but reckon Im close?

Anyone else get the felling this trade period has been extremely boring. Shultz and adams the only unexpected deals getting done thus far. They should shorten it to a week, it has just felt drawn out and boring.

So gresh out, Henry in and we’ve strengthened our draft hand this year

Gets a tick from me so far!

Whats the word on Dow?
Ive heard Carlton want our pick 21.
We wont give it.
But what do we have? He is definitely not worth a 1st round now or future. We have already coughed up our future 2nd.

I think they’ve done ok too
Haven’t sold the farm
Brought in improvements (I think Dow upgrades midfield and Henry is 22 and averaged more than Gresham this year)
If we can do Bullings for Dow as rumoured that’d work
Then upgrade 1 more pick …then big tick for mine

What part isnt true?
Carlton want our pick 21 for their first round pick (#3) player...they are just flinging mud, but heard it on 3AW...media never lie!

Or that we gave up future 2nd?

Or that Dow isnt currently worth our 1st or 2nd round pick?

Or are you trying to say the earth isnt flat?

Not sure, he played a bit this season and was serviceable. A solid B- grade mid. They dont need him. But club wont just throw away a 1st round pick if they think St Kilda want them.

I’d like us to have a crack at Duursma, he’s a very good kick, reliable shot for goal and he also has a huge tank.

Besides that, I’d just like to f*** that d**khead Dodoro and Essendon over

via FoxSports....

Top-10 2017 draftees Nick Coffield and Paddy Dow could have their trade wishes granted by the end of today.

Coffield is keen to get to the Western Bulldogs from St Kilda, who are working with Carlton to strike a deal for Dow.

SEN journalist Tom Morris reported the Bulldogs, Saints, Blues and Bombers were negotiation a trade where Coffield and Dow would move clubs, while an array of picks would change hands.

Morris added the clubs were hopeful a deal could be struck before 5pm on Tuesday.

Seems our guys have done well.
Congrats team.
Nominal starting 23 looks significantly improved.
Now for the draft.

Our 3rd pick in the draft is now pick 40 (or whatever that slides to)

And somehow we will pick up a spud with pick 40 and yet overlook a potential 100 game player - who we will pick up as a rookie or thru the SSP. I’ve never understood why our strike rate in rookie drafts seems so much better than everything we pick in the 3rd round onwards in the main draft.

At pick 21 we should look at Archer Reid 203cm 94kg a key forward from Vic Country there is some good mail on him he is tipped to go at around 22 we got a lot of mids in the trade period and use our first and last picks for more mids.
