We were linked to him but has picked Sydney.
Is FA so therefore Gresham compensation isn't compromised

Mixed bag I guess. I liked him and felt he would have slotted nicely I’m in a HBF which would have made Sinclair a permanent mid.

Interesting to see what will all go done.
Reported on FB that Coffield has been offered a 2 year deal. Not sure if signed

Maybe the injury to Callum Mills has sweetened the deal

Wasn't going to happen as we are chasing FA compo for Gresham.

James Jordan = Dean Kent in my opinion. Wouldn't have improved our list.

Yep, he’s a Joe Average. Much like Kent, he’d end up a fringe player. Will be interesting to see how many games he gets with the Swines.

Oh yes it would be.
Only a delisted free agent does not compromise compensation that is because the former club no longer owns the player having delisted him.

If St kilda wants a compensation pick for Gresham then they can not bring in a free agent, they need to trade for that player.

Way better than Kent. Ridiculous comparison.

I liked him in that he could have slotted into a HBF and made Sinclair essentially have to be a permanent mid.

Not devastated by any means but I would have liked him

Not sure I’d be moving Sinclair out of a position where he has been a dual AA

Running backs are probably the most important players in footy atm

He is elite and Nasiah is fast becoming that too.

How bout this idea?
Instead of drafting/trading for a HB in order to move Jack into the middle
Draft/trade/FA some decent midfielders

I always thought moving Sinclair to the midfield was a sign of desperation. Hopefully they can fix the midfield to a point where they don’t feel they need to do that anymore. Harder said than done.

So let me understand this ......

We have a specialist HB who won 2 AA honors in that role - and we want to move him to the mid field??

Midfielders do not grow on trees - BUT they are more common than AA HB's.

Find a midfielder and recruit them

LEAVE SINCLAIR AT HB

Both good

Neither game breakers

We need a power mid who can explode from stoppage and kick goals or a hard running breakaway mid

What makes people think that Sinclair is q game winning mid? He played in the midfield for years and became an A grader when shifted to HB. Leave him there.
