TBH the most surprising for me was Adams. Young, tall, seemed to do ok at VFL level, rumour was he wasn’t doing doing much wrong and young talls take some time. I’ll back the club I guess, they obviously know more. Attitude thing?

Howard is the Payne to Van Es's Harris Andrews.

Don't think Van Es will be a last line defender.

All fairly obvious those four, as someone posted recently, we have cut 8 per year on average, feels like there will be more than 4 more to go this year, could be at least 10 this year.

Hopefully Bytel is the last time we recruit a player with injury issues believing we have a great medical team to get them right. Don’t think it has worked once for us.

Bytel will either get picked up or will play a year at state league and either get picked mid season or next season as a rookie

His back hasn’t been an issue after season 1

Yep surprised me also. Thought he might have been developed. Looks like a pretty forthright beginning to the list strategy.

Bytel is another Luke Dunstan. Great local footballer but nowhere near AFL standard.
Peris extremely lucky to get one AFL game. Not in top 20 players in his Dragons team when put on list.

Hopefully Lyon isn't big on long term project players, we need to turn players over quicker.

We keep guys like Highmore the turnover king in the VFL McKenzie, hasn't played in over a year, 4 young guys I thought Peris, Adams were doing well in the VFL by all reports from the coaches really hope we get 4 more young guys in and get rid of some of the spuds like Allison and Highmore,Paton,byrnes.
Peris had speed we were lacking we have some of the older guys out injured Ross, Jones, Membery, Coffield and will Campbell go around again in the VFL, also Jemmy Webster I here will retire.
That makes our list a lot older and slower sounds like we are going to have to wait to get the new drafted players up to speed so could be a long season.

Scollop you are still on the Bytel train? You’ve missed it… time to get on another train. I saw your posts about Liam Henry and you are spot on. Jump on that and don’t look back. Bytel is a dud.
