Rd 23 Match thread vs Geelong
Go Saints
Huge win to GWS closes the percentage gap
Adelaide vs Sydney on the other side also an important game to us
We’ll know a lot about where things are at in 2 hours

Clark the sub
RTB talking about how the season has been tough for Steele due to his body.
Emphasised that they’ve prioritised fitness and prep this season
Emphasised that they’ve focused on moving the ball forward in numbers

I'm not feeling particularly optimistic tonight, but we are surely in with a chance.

Go Saints!

Geeeez that 50m was a blessing
It was there as the tackle was rough but Higgins certainly looked to play on then stopped
Hope he’s ok

Atrocious play by Geelong in defence
How do Max King and Cooper Sharman go up in a pack and get hands to it unopposed
King gets the mark and goal, if he wasn’t there, Coop would have had it

FFS we must be the kings in conceding goals in the last minute.
Rugby League would have to be the stupidest, most moronic and over rated game of all time.

Right now in this game, Jack Steele is an absolute liability. Isn’t up to the speed of the game and his intensity around the contest is not good enough.

Geelong are injury ravaged, never going to get a better chance than this to get them.
Good start

Re: Rd 23 Match thread vs Geelong
OK quarter but we should be up by 4 goals
Once again cough up a goal in the last minute ..... nearly 2 goals

Re: Rd 23 Match thread vs Geelong
Steele and Crouch are pbly it for us.
Both haven’t had great starts and the middle is where this game will be won. It looks to me like we are very dangerous up forward and if we can get some decent supply I reckon our forwards will blast them away. Sinclair is doing his bit, Ross has started well… we need some dominance though

Inside 50's are 18 to 6 our way
We are wasteful. They are efficient
Around the ground it seems we lose the 1-1 contests and we get pushed out of the way or can't stop them when they're hemmed in.
Our guys seem skinny, weak or unbalanced
