unfortunately we have, and have always had these people in our midst
I'm happy for fact that for the last 10 years, I've managed, with my reserved seat to be pretty happy with the people who sit around me on Level 2, their passion, their takes on the team and the game and our commonality of purpose
Prior to this, I would get stuck for season next to a guy like the OP, who not only made the season more frustrating than it already was, but meant I dreaded going to games where, even when we were winning or showed competitiveness , he'd still be seeming to take delight in putting the boots in and revelling in picking the low hanging fruit as though he were special because he dared to express the dumb kneejerk things we sometimes felt but didnt really believe, at dumb, frustrating moments of following the Saints
I would often opt not to take the escalator up as standing room level 1 always seemed a more honest, enjoyable and better option that to suffer this guy
So all in all 3 seasons early on, depsite the good seats that we had, we (3 of us ) felt like nomads, every year requesting a move because of dickheads like this.
I'd almost forgotten how they used to s*** us so bad until this guy from Sydney syatted asserting his specialness here
