Votes v Roos
Opening the thread as usual. However I have been at a suit-and-tie function with the family, where I could only watch snippets, then rode them home on the car radio in the last quarter. Hardly puts me in a position to vote !
So I invite others to put in their votes.
Cheers

Re: Votes v Roos
I thought Windhager was awesome in the last quarter. Kept running into space to provide leads and help us retain possession.
11 touches in the last quarter (same as the captain ) 4 contested and 3 intercept possessions.
He could have probably been used as the tag on LDU today and quelled some of his influence, but Windy did what was asked of him and kept running and defending and putting pressure on the North forwards. One of our hardest workers and a great team mate to have on your side
LDU should get the 5 votes from Ratten in the Coaches Association award... Maybe Lyon gives him 5 as well. 33 disposals - 23 contested. LDU had 9 inside 50's. He had 12 clearances. 8 intercept possessions.
I've noticed he's put on some muscle too. He kept providing dash out of stoppages. He made our midfield look slow and he kept dishing it off and shrugging our tackles.

Re: Votes v Roos
I can’t believe no one has not put Webster in their votes. I thought his efforts were enormous, spoils, tackles etc, definitely kept us in the game
Therefore
4 Webster
4 Steele
4 Windhager
2 Marshall
1 Owens

Re: Votes v Roos
I've been a Webster fan for many years
It's par for the course for Jimmy as far as DOING his primary job. I think Webster and Wilkie have been our best defenders this year.

Re: Votes v Roos
Due to the site going down we only had a bakers dozen vote - but I guess it is better than nothing and indicates the thought of the crowd.
If anyone wants to retrospectively vote on this thread - I am happy to leave it open another day.
